Automating a gate at the time it’s fabricated means the frame, hinge posts or track are built to suit the motor’s mounting points and safety clearances from the start. Retrofitting automation to an existing gate is possible in most cases, but the gate and posts need to be assessed on-site first to confirm they can safely carry the motor and daily cycling.
